It turns out that random memory too in fact has a lot of power. Or should we say that there is a lot of power in abstract imagination. Back in 2009, about 7 years from now, a Europe based designer Gianluca Gimni had asked some friends to draw what would be their recollection of men’s bicycle. In fact, in the entire drawing process, Gianluca Gimni even involved strangers, for the range of recollection to grow real wide and dense.
When the results came about- only a few were able to get the cycle shape and design right, while most made some technical errors. Gimni even found out that there were some missing fundaments in the cursory design.
Gimni then gathered a collection of about 376 drawings from friends, known one’s and random strangers from the age group of 3 to 88. Using this incredible finding, Gimni started to build a realistic design using 3D imagery model, applying the said technique to the collection of designs he had found. And truth be told, the results were flabbergasting and simply beautiful.
